Binds nitrogen in the barn, the manure pit and on the land.
Lava3 binds the nitrogen in the manure where lime releases it.
The barn: Provide a layer of Lava3 meal between the cow and the surface (rubber mat, etc.) to prevent the abrasive effect of open hocks and the like. Lava3 gives good dry cubicles and is bacteria-inhibiting. Lava3 cleans wounds such as teat treads and claw infections. Make a Lava3 footbath regularly. With sufficient use in the barn, ammonia emissions are strongly reduced. Ammonia and nitrogen are volatile substances that are quickly bound by Lava3. Thanks to the reduction of ammonia gas, there are fewer flies in the barn. So also spread Lava3 in the waiting area, calf pens and calving pens. If cows happen to eat the meal, whether by accident or not, that is no problem. Lava3 does not result in dry or sensitive teats. Lava3 is the better alternative to lime and chalk.
The manure pit: Lava3 does not sink to the bottom of the manure pit. It binds directly to the organic floating mass. The trace elements in Lava3 promote conversion (fermentation) in the slurry. Through this fermentation process the slurry gains a higher percentage of bound nitrogen, nitrate and phosphate. This more homogeneous manure ensures that the fertiliser is more readily absorbed by soil life (worms, etc.).
The land: Because Lava3 is rich in minerals and trace elements, it is a unique soil additive to promote the fertility of the soil. It stimulates the uptake of many nutrients already fixed in the soil (including phosphorus). Lava3 has a fast and long-lasting effect and improves crop yield. The high silicon content in Lava3 strengthens the plant’s cell walls, producing a sturdier crop. The combination of clay and aluminium platelets in Lava3 creates a better clay-humus complex, so the soil retains moisture better. Lava3 fixes nutrients in the soil more effectively, so they leach out less quickly – reducing nitrate loss in the soil. When a plant is given nitrogen it gets a growth boost – but the minerals and trace elements must then be present. Artificial fertiliser, compost, farmyard manure and the like cannot replace the original mineral fertilisation. Lava3 can! Lava3 meal is not a substitute for NP artificial fertiliser but does increase its effectiveness. In short, you can spread Lava3 in the barn completely safely and without any problems. Lava3 contains trace elements including: phosphorus, manganese, boron, molybdenum, cobalt, silicon, sodium, iron, titanium, copper, zinc and many others.
Combi spreader / sawdust spreader
An electrically driven sawdust/Lava3 spreader on 2 wheels, moved by a single person. The machine is designed for spreading a Lava3-and-sawdust mixture at high speed, with a capacity of 2 bags of sawdust with 2 buckets of Lava3.
Users say: “This is a machine we can hardly do without.”
